Alberta Education Results Report (AERR)

At Dave McNeilly Public School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and enriching learning environment that empowers our students to realize their full potential. Guided by our Continuous Improvement Cycle and the Alberta Education Results Report (AERR) for the 2024-2025 school year, we strive for excellence in education, focusing on outcomes that matter to our students, staff, and wider community.

Our Commitment to Excellence

The AERR is more than just a report—it represents our pledge to continuously reflect, assess, and improve our approach to education. Our Continuous Improvement Cycle is at the heart of this commitment, ensuring that our strategies are data-driven, aligned with Alberta Education’s priorities, and responsive to the unique needs of our school community.

Through collaboration between students, teachers, parents, and community members, our improvement cycle supports a culture of learning and growth that bridges academic success, personal development, and community involvement.

Division Notice

ATA Strike Commencing on Monday; School Closures Starting Oct 6th

As a result of the Alberta Teachers Association (ATA) rejecting a proposed deal from the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA), all FMPSD schools will be closed to students starting Monday, October 6, 2025, unless a new agreement is reached or strike action is otherwise averted. Additionally, all yellow school bus routes will be suspended for the duration of the strike.

In light of the ongoing strike, all extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and after-school programs, will be temporarily suspended.

As there is no definitive end date for the strike, FMPSD is unable to provide a timeline for when normal operations will resume. We will continue to provide timely updates as we receive them from the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
